"As we embark on a new stage of work, contribution, and achieving more aspirations in realizing the goals of sustainable development, it is imperative that we seize this opportunity to express our gratitude, appreciation, and admiration to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him and preserve him, and to His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, for their extensive and unwavering support for the health sector in all circumstances and difficult challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the visionary and pioneering initiatives taken by the wise leadership and government to confront this pandemic and its health, human and social implications."

As everyone knows, nations are built by the efforts of their children and nations advance through their generosity. In this regard, the Kingdom of Bahrain was a leader and pioneer in valuing the sacrifices of its dedicated and hard-working children who serve in the front lines and support. At the same time, it expresses our pride and appreciation for the royal directives, commanded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to establish the Prince Salman bin Hamad Award for Medical Excellence, which awards doctors, nurses, medical teams, and those who have fallen while performing their medical duties, in addition to individuals who have made lasting and patriotic contributions in supporting medical personnel both materially and morally.

We have seen His Majesty the King renew his commitment to such noble initiatives, which reinforce the Kingdom's position and future vision in advancing the health system and ensuring that all citizens and residents of this beautiful land receive the best health services, making the Bahraini experience and its health achievements unique and unparalleled.

Without a doubt, this royal recognition of all workers and associates of the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain represents a strong and powerful incentive for them to contribute to the development and sustainability of medical services according to the highest international standards, reflecting the comprehensive health coverage concept.
